Love love LOVE Tucker Pup's.
Turns out our 'doodle, Gordy, has his fair share of issues. He's a bit frisky, doesn't always want to play well with others, tires easily and isn't a big fan of eating when away from home... and I can't tell you how wonderful the staff at Tucker Pup's is with him. How honest they are in communicating with us and what they're willing to do to be sure he's had his naps, eaten his meals, etc. They actually care at Tucker Pup's...they look at each dog individually and go above and beyond to meet his/her needs.
I thought "cage free" boarding was the way to go. It's not. At a previous nearby establishment, Gordy would come back insanely lethargic, took a week or more to get back to himself... being in a roomy cage, with his own bed, his own toys, gives Gordy the time to get his rest, have his own personal space. Gordy comes home as Gordy, his goofy, lovable self! My husband and I were so pleasantly shocked at the difference in the way he comes back from Tucker Pup's!
We'll take Gordy to Tucker Pup's as long as we live in Chicago...I can't imagine going elsewhere after experiencing Tucker Pup's a couple of times now!

I want to personally thank you and your staff for the wonderful care our dogs, Charlie and Sadie, receive. It's always so refreshing that the people at the front desk and those associated with boarding know not only our dogs names, but ours as well. A special thank you goes out to Justine, who was able to accommodate my wife and I this past Sunday when our flight landed a little later than expected. She demonstrated the type of caring and kindness that will keep us loyal to Tucker Pup's for the future. Again, thank you and your staff.

Once again, thank you for taking such good care of our Gus. He has such a terrific time at Tucker Pup's. As soon as we turn down Carpenter Street Gus sits up at attention eagerly waiting to get out of the car and greet his friends. Gus is our 1st puppy and since he was 9 weeks old we have been bringing him to Tucker Pup's for training and later daycare, boarding, and grooming. After every visit Gus comes home exhausted and content. We feel so lucky to be near Tucker Pup's as we never worry or feel guilty for leaving because we know that Gus is in excellent hands and genuinely loves being there. The excellent staff, building cleanliness, non-cement flooring, indoor/outdoor play areas, spacious kennel areas, reasonable pricing and the all-positive training courses really does place Tucker Pup's at a higher standard above the rest. My only suggestion is that there needs to be more Tucker Pup's in the Chicagoland area because we fear that we will never find a place as terrific as Tucker Pup's if we ever need to move outside of city limits.

Thanks for the great experience we all had while boarding Mesa during our recent Holiday party. It was so convenient that we could bring him in on Saturday morning for the all-day-play option. It allowed me to spend the day getting ready for the party. When I picked him up on Sunday morning, he was so "Tucker'ed" out! He slept for nearly 2 days! We brought him back for training the following week and he was clearly happy to be walking back through your doors!

Once again, Tucker Pup's outdid themselves with my two boys! Rudy and Samson were not only completely healthy and happy, they were clean and brushed! They always have fun when they come for day care but I was a bit stressed about leaving them for for 7 days while I was on vacation. They are both still tired, 3 days later after picking them up, but thanks to you, I was thoroughly at ease on my trip knowing they were in such good hands. I've recommended you to everyone I know with a four-legged 'child'. Thanks so much again for the amazing care you give my guys!

Lulu had a great time at Tucker Pup's and I felt really comfortable having here there because the staff was always friendly, helpful and organized. They were so gracious when I called to check on Lulu and even had specific stories about all the new doggie friends she had made. When I picked her up, several staff members even came out to say goodbye and give her a last snuggle. We both felt really good about the experience!!

My Brittany, Chloe, has been going to Tucker Pup's for boarding since the summer and I couldn't be happier with the level of care she gets. They have been VERY proactive regarding her care. I travel for work 2-3 nights most week and I recently took her to board there for an extended stay; after the experience I will continue to bring her here during my trips. She is able to play all day long during her stay and she loves it there...unfortunately, home just isn't the same after a visit to Tucker Pup's. I am more than pleased with the service provided and they will continue to get my business.

Our puppy Herman was excited when we pulled up at Tucker Pup's because he takes puppy classes there. He had a great time over the weekend and was worn out when we picked him up on Sunday. It was his first time away from home and we felt comfortable leaving him with the staff. He wishes there wasn't such a long waiting list for weekday doggy care!

This past weekend was the first time my dog Duncan was boarded with you, and he clearly had a wonderful time! Thank you so much for taking good care of him! He got home last night and could not even keep his eyes open- and that continued into this morning! Your staff has always been extremely friendly and helpful. Thanks for taking such good care of Maizy. As usual she came home happy and tired - just the way I want her when we return from traveling! :). It gives us extra peace of mind when we vacation to know that Maizy in a place where she is going to get plenty of canine playtime and exercise. We had a fantastic experience boarding at Tucker Pup's!
Two days before I left on vacation, Danger was bitten by another dog and needed stitches just below his eye. I was so nervous because I know he has a ton of energy, but wasn't able to play with other dogs. And to top it off, he had new medicines that he wasn't too fond of taking. Tucker Pup's made the transition from all day play to boarding only as easy as possible, assuring me they would have no problems with his medication and the special care of his eye, and that he would receive lots of one-on-one attention.
When I picked him up, I could tell immediately that they had lived up to it. Every employee I saw told me how much fun Danger was and that they liked playing with him. When they brought him down, he was happy to see me, but wasn't particularly anxious to leave. And his stitches looked perfect - even the vet commented on how well the laceration had healed.
We went back two days later for our Good Manners class, and as soon as he realized where we were, Danger was excited to go inside again - so I know he enjoyed his stay.

I wanted to share my feedback with you from boarding Bella at Tucker Pup's last week. I think Bella had a great time!! She returned exhausted, which I love, happy and healthy. When I picked her up I spoke with one of your co-workers regarding her stay and they were able to give me feedback on her behavior and mood, which I appreciated. Sometimes her barking/howling when she is around other dogs can be a bit annoying but it sounds like she calmed down after a few days. This was my second time boarding her at Tucker Pup's and I will definitely be back again.

I just wanted to say "thank you" for taking care of my puppy, Bubba, overnight while I had to travel for work. Everyone at Tucker Pup's was so kind and professional and put my mind at ease by walking me through what his experience would be, from playing to eating to sleeping. I knew he was well taken care of beforehand and then I was also briefed about his stay when I returned. He was having so much fun with the other dogs when I walked in that I actually felt bad for taking him home. I was also impressed by the individual attention to his needs (i.e., naps as a puppy). When we got home, he was so much calmer from being able to play all day. You have a fantastic facility but it's truly the staff and the excellent service that you provide that will keep us coming back to you. Well done!

I am very impressed with Tucker Pups and your business savvy. You have a lot of competition in the Chicago market, and you set yourself apart. In any business, it is the hundred little things that make a difference. I have been impressed with your marketing on the shopping carts at Jewel. When I spoke to you about Maggie`s stay, I thought it was very insightful to have the dogs that are boarding come in before noon, so they can interact with the other dogs, get really exhausted, and have a good nights sleep the first night away from home.
Maggie is beat and came home very happy! I think your staff also excels in their love for our 'babies'.
I feel very confident leaving Maggie at Tucker Pups.

Just wanted to provide you some feedback regarding Theo's stay. He really enjoys coming there and I really appreciate the fact that you and your staff know him by name and know about his peculiarities. As you know he is not the most trustworthy creature, and I was really worried when we moved to Chicago about boarding him in a new place (he went to his last kennel for 2 years so I wasn't sure how quickly we can get him to be comfortable in his new surroundings). Not worried at all anymore because I know he is in capable hands. It was especially great to find out that one of your staff members (cannot remember her name) runs a pit bull rescue and is very familiar with the breed and that you host aggression seminars; we were disappointed we couldn't make the last one since we were out of town, but are hoping there will be others in the future!
I also noticed that since he has been pretty good with other dogs when we drop him off and pick him up and even was nice with you during his last visit. He was like that at his last kennel in St. Louis as well, but it took him a while to get there, so he must be getting comfortable enough, which is fantastic!

Riley's stay was great! It was the first time she stayed...anywhere. I was nervous, but your Riley assured me and was such a positive person, I felt very comfortable. I spoke with a guy during one of the days she stayed over the phone, just checking in on her, everything was good. Also, the fact you let us in on a holiday weekend, short notice was very nice. Riley was wiped out when I got her home, but in good spirits.

My girlfriend and I have a 7 month old golden-doodle puppy named Newman. Unfortunately Newman has had to endure a couple of tail surgeries in his short time with us. So when it came to boarding him, we were very concerned about finding a reputable and responsible caretaker. Since Newman was fresh off of his second surgery we were very apprehensive about leaving him anywhere due to the special attention that he needed in order to ensure no more harm came to his tail. On a friend's recommendation we chose Tucker Pup's. When we picked Newman up after his short stay, he not only was well on his way to being fully healed but he was 'tuckered' out from all the fun he had with the other dogs.
We have brought Newman to Tucker Pup's every time we have had a need for boarding or doggy daycare since. He gets excited when he sees the Tucker Pup's building and doesn't seem to want to leave when it is time to pick him up. I would recommend Tucker Pup's to anyone who needs such services.

When Milo boards with you he arrives a healthy happy dog and when he comes home he is a tired healthy happy dog. I never worry during the time he is in your care. Your staff is loving and caring towards Milo which gives me peace of mind. Thanks for all you do.

Everything seemed to have gone great for Mya and Mac when they stayed at Tucker Pup's. We will definitely be looking to bring them back when we need boarding again. And if space opens up, we will be looking to have Mya attend daycare.
