My dog experience started at a very young age. I grew up with many different animals and have always felt comfortable with all different breeds. My mother has a farm and I have worked very closely with all of the animals there. I have volunteered at a ton of different animal shelters around the city. Volunteering taught me proper ways to handle dogs and to never be afraid. I was taught that patience is key in any situation involving animals. I am a firm believer in positive reinforcement and use my positive attitude to work with any dog I meet.
I have 6 year old bully named Bandet. Bandet is rambunctious & always the life of the party. He loves every dog he meets and has taught me so much. I also have a rescue Yorkie named Mace who is 9 years old. Mace is a lot of work and tests my patience constantly but at the same time she teaches me to be a better dog handler. She is a highly reactive dog who can red zone pretty easily. We have made so much progress over the years and she has taught me more than any dog I have ever worked with.

I have a rescued cat named Pierre. He is a tuxedo cat who talks constantly and thinks he is a dog.

I also have a few rescued goldfish.
Service dog training. I train service dogs for Veterans with PTSD.
The dogs I train help veterans with post traumatic stress disorder transition back to civilian life once their military service has ended.
Bully breeds and scrappy little terriers.
I love being outdoors. Snowboarding is by far my favorite non-dog related activity. Now if I could just teach my dog how to snowboard, my life would be complete. I also love camping. I could camp everyday of my life.
Open my own dog sanctuary somewhere with lots of land where they can run free and live a happy life even if they are not adopted.
Territorio de Zaguates in Costa Rica is my favorite place in the world. The free-range sanctuary is home to over 900 rescued dogs. They allow the dogs to roam through green hills during the day and be free.

I've visited a few times and love helping the rescue by hiking up the mountains and jumping in the creeks along the way, which exercises the dogs.

It is pure heaven for a dog lover but also a place you wish never had to exist. I hope to open something similar some day.
Lake County Community College/Harold Washington.
I have helped multiple animals give birth (farm animals) . I am very comfortable in stressful situations and work very well under pressure.
