Molly
Dog Handler
I have been trained in canine first aid and have formal CPR training.
When I'm not chasing around puppies at Tucker Pup's, I enjoy volunteering at pet shelters around the city. I also foster cats from time to time.
Prior to moving to Chicago, I had some experience working under a dog trainer. For three years, I was also a dog walker and pet sitter for a pet care company.
I have almost too many pets! Growing up in a rural community allowed me to have the opportunity to have a wide range of pets including dogs, cats, and horses. I also have five dogs. My favorite (and biggest) is my Rottweiler/Lab mix, Cruz. He looks more bear than dog at times! I also have another Rottweiler mix named Chloe, a Poodle-Chihuahua-Pekinese mix named Chewbacca, an English Springer Spaniel named Max, and a Min Pin named Baby.
I am capable of puppy training and am able to correct minor problems (like nibbling and jumping). I also know canine CPR and first-aid.
While I enjoy all breeds, I prefer hunting and herding dogs the most. Welsh Corgis, Border Collies, English Springer Spaniels, and Labs are my favorites! I also enjoy Rottweilers because my family had a few when I was growing up.
Outside of visiting puppies and kitties, I enjoy reading and writing. I also enjoy playing video games and just hanging out.
While I enjoy working with dogs and other pets at this level, I wish to someday complete my schooling to become a veterinarian.
I like trying to come up with puns, though they're usually not funny.
I graduated from Rush City High School, a small rural school in Minnesota. I currently am going to Harold Washington College to earn my generals. I hope to use those to transfer to a different college so I can earn my Veterinary Medicine degree.
I once went horseback riding in a state park and thought I saw a very big dog. When I got closer, it turned out just to be a deer.
