Prior professional dog experience:

Prior to Tucker Pup's, I was a dog trainer at a large training business in Austin, TX, where I taught classes and private lessons. I also ran my own pet-sitting and training business in Austin, worked at another training business, and was a trainer and Assistant Kennel Manager at a daycare and boarding business.

My pets:

I have a black lab named Sweetie, who after I adopted, showed signs of reactivity which launched me into the world of dog training. My other pup's name is Dobbs who is a little pug-gremlin mix who will be turning 20 in 2026!

Training taken:

I have done lots of dog training courses with my own pups! We've done various different classes such as manners, the Canine Good Citizen test, nosework, agility, and rally obedience.

Favorite breeds:

Labs will always have a special place in my heart since I grew up with them, but I also have a huge soft spot for pitties!

Favorite activities:

I love taking Sweetie out on adventures, whether that means a trip to the park, beach, or out on a hike! When I don't feel like being active, I enjoy hanging out with friends playing game/watching shows.

Future career goals:

I hope to continue growing my knowledge and experience in the dog training/behavior world.

Other interests:

When I'm not talking about or hanging out with my dogs, I love trying new coffee shops or places to go thrifting.

Graduated from:

I've graduated from Karen Pryor Academy to be certified as a positive reinforcement dog trainer. I also have my Associates in Biology and would love to go back to school to get a degree Wildlife Biology/Zoology to work in conservation.

Did you know?

I spent 5 weeks in Johannesburg, South Africa, volunteering at an wildlife sanctuary where I got to help with enrichment and care activities for many different species such as elephants, lions, and cheetahs!
