I have over six years of experience working at multiple different animal hospitals both in Chicago and Washington, DC. At the moment, I own one dog while in my adulthood, and was raised caring for bigger breeds (Huskies and Great Danes).
The love of my life is named Girlfriend, a tri-colored Chihuahua mix. She has a vast wardrobe from dresses, costumes, to sweaters. She loves taking long walks on the beach and chasing tennis balls.
Small breeds in general due to their portability. Chihuahuas, Yorkies, Beagles, etc. I do have a major soft spot in my heart for pit bulls.
In my free time I like to read and write book/movie reviews. (I love a good award season). I also like to actively look for new dog friendly areas within the city with my Girlfriend in my backpack.
I would like to finish my Associates at Harry S. Truman and then transfer to a four year school to complete the biochem degree, then I would like to travel the world for work. In a larger framework of dreaming, I would like to one day open a harm reduction facility (for humans) within Chicago and separately own a chihuahua sanctuary (for myself).
I take an interest in politics after previously living in DC for several years and I have about six different news sources that I pull up nearly every other morning (the Hill, Reuter's, Politico, etc.). I also like yoga and going on cruises.
I graduated from North High School in Owings, Maryland (go Patriots!) When I moved to DC after high school, I completed certification at an acting conservatory. I am currently enrolled in classes at Harry S. Truman college to study biochemistry as I have a deep interest in toxicology.
I was born on the same day as Princess Diana's passing (08/31/1997) As you can imagine, my maternal grandmother was going through a roller coaster of emotions that day. I have previous experience caring for the pets of celebrities and diplomats. I also know a good amount of American Sign Language and conversational Spanish.
