Animal Experience

Before becoming a dog trainer, I was dog a handler at two doggy daycares for three years. This has given me a solid understanding of dog behavior and socialization. I was also a neighborhood dog walker. My passion for dogs led me to become a full-time trainer.

Why I Became a Dog Trainer

I have always had an interest in the way dogs think and behave. I believe that it is important to have an understanding between dog and owner to create harmony in the home. I also strongly believe in positive reinforcement training tactics, and strive to teach others how to apply them.

Testimonials

Loved the trainer, Natalie - she had such a great handle on the puppy social.

Mango loves Natalie (the treat lady) so much! She has responded really well and has made going out on walks much more enjoyable and lower stress. We know what to look for and what to do when she sees other dogs and she's overall easier to walk. We look forward to working with her in the future.

Natalie was the absolute best. I was talking to a co-worker about our experience and she asked if I felt attacked by having a trainer "judge" my dog and us as pet parents. I shared that the opposite was true - working with Natalie was like working with a therapist who was able to quickly uncover feelings (both in our pup and in my husband and I), noting what was causing angst, fear, and other behaviors. Then, providing us coping mechanisms to make things better, more manageable, and most importantly, enabling us to understand Renegade versus just being frustrated with him. Truly helping us help set him up for success.
