Animal Experience
Before becoming a dog trainer, I was dog a handler at two doggy daycares for three years. This has given me a solid understanding of dog behavior and socialization. I was also a neighborhood dog walker. My passion for dogs led me to become a full-time trainer. Why I Became a Dog Trainer
I have always had an interest in the way dogs think and behave. I believe that it is important to have an understanding between dog and owner to create harmony in the home. I also strongly believe in positive reinforcement training tactics, and strive to teach others how to apply them.Testimonials
Jamie and Natalie are absolutely amazing. Could not have chosen anyone better to train our Whitney.

Natalie is AMAZING -- she really made sure she understood what we were hoping to get out of training with Otis, and then met Otis where he was -- and coming up with workarounds for any of his shortcomings.
The amount of love and support she gave Otis is amazing -- it felt like I was dropping him off with his second owner, which was so comforting.
Natalie was sure to detail everything they did for the day in email, and also providing me written guidelines of what to work at while at home - on top of, of course, going over them together.
She handled all of my crazy questions so well, and was always willing to go over things in further detail if Otis and I needed it.
I truly cannot reiterate enough how amazing Natalie is, and how much of a HUGE improvement Otis has made over the last two sessions -- it feels like I have a new dog!

Natalie was a fantastic trainer! Winnie came in to Adult Manners class not knowing how to sit, and left knowing sit, down, stay, touch, come, leave it, go say hi, wait, and more. Her recall is so much better than it was, as is her impulse control. Natalie was really helpful with tailoring the cues to each individual dog if they were having a hard time with anything, and answered tons of Q&A each week to help us with training other behaviors at home! Would definitely sign up for more training classes at Tucker Pup's, they were great.
