My Role at Tucker Pup's
I provide Dropoff Training and our Stay and Train service, plus teach puppy socials.Animal Experience
Before becoming a dog trainer at Tucker Pup's, I worked at Anti-Cruelty for six years. Anti-Cruelty is the oldest and largest shelter in Chicago. While there, I saw firsthand how dogs just needed some training, and this led me to pursue becoming a full-time trainer.I have also gone through behavioral modification training with my own dogs.
Why I Became a Dog Trainer
I have always had an interest in the way dogs think and behave. I believe that it is important to have an understanding between dog and owner to create harmony in the home. I also strongly believe in positive reinforcement training tactics, and strive to teach others how to apply them.Future Goals
To become a certified dog trainer that specializes in behavioral modification, tackling difficult issues such as separation anxiety, leash reactivity, and much more.Testimonials

Phaedra was AMAZING with Gus!! He learned so much from her & I think I learned just as much! Phaedra was so patient with me as a first time dog mom - reassuring decisions and taking the time to genuinely understand my concerns and walking me through how to navigate the harder parts of puppyhood.
Gus was very responsive to Phaedra's training and I could tell during our progress meetings that he was focused and interested in what he was learning. I could tell she deeply cared about him and took great care of him while he was in his sessions - he is also obsessed with her, LOL!
