I provide Dropoff Training and our Stay and Train service, plus teach puppy socials.Animal Experience
Before becoming a dog trainer at Tucker Pup's, I worked at Anti-Cruelty for six years. Anti-Cruelty is the oldest and largest shelter in Chicago. While there, I saw firsthand how dogs just needed some training, and this led me to pursue becoming a full-time trainer.I have also gone through behavioral modification training with my own dogs.
Why I Became a Dog Trainer
I have always had an interest in the way dogs think and behave. I believe that it is important to have an understanding between dog and owner to create harmony in the home. I also strongly believe in positive reinforcement training tactics, and strive to teach others how to apply them.Future Goals

We had a fantastic experience with Tucker Pup's dropoff training program for our 5-month-old lab puppy, Indie. We initially met trainer Phaedra at a puppy social, and she was a key reason we chose Tucker Pup's. From the start, they were very thorough in explaining the training program. Indie attended twice a week and absolutely loved working with Phaedra. Her expertise and passion for dog training were evident in every session. We also greatly valued our weekly meetings with Phaedra, where she taught us what Indie was learning. She was patient, knowledgeable, and truly cared about Indie's progress. We are extremely happy with our decision to use Tucker Pup's dropoff training and highly recommend it! Indie is already signed up for her first boarding and I know she will love it!

We attended the puppy social for the first time Saturday with our pup, Ollie. I was so impressed by the trainer Phaedra's attention to all the pups and people. She was very knowledgeable and helped ease our minds about our little one's first time interacting with others. It was such a great experience that we'll be back next week!
