I also worked as a dog walker and pet sitter for over eight years, gaining extensive hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, temperaments, and needs.I addition, I have experience in veterinary setting and completed an animal care internship at the Columbian park Zoo, which further strengthened my knowledge of animal behavior and safe, effective handling practices.
Before that, I was a Veterinary Assistant at cat hospital in West Lafayette, where I helped feed and medicate patients, assisted the veterinarian with day-to-day procedures, and scheduled appointments and surgeries.

Educational Background
I earned a Bachelor of Science degree, with an Animal Science major, from Purdue University in Lafayette, Indiana. Why I Became a Dog Trainer
Growing up, I always knew I wanted to be a voice for those who could not speak for or advocate for themselves. My original path was pre-veterinary medicine. However, along the way — while volunteering in veterinary clinics, working at a zoo, and spending years as a dog walker and pet sitter — I discovered a deep passion for animal behavior. I became fascinated by how animals learn, communicate, and experience the world, and I realized I could make a meaningful impact by helping families better understand their dogs. That passion ultimately led me to pursue my CTC certification and later specialize in separation anxiety training, where I could combine science-based training with compassionate support for both dogs and their people. My Dogs
I have two dogs: One is a Pomeranian / Yorkshire terrier mix named Harry, who has separation anxiety. The other is a terrier Chihuahua mix named Stanley.Future Goals
I want to help as many dogs as possible overcome separation anxiety, and be a guiding light for all of the pet owners who feel like prisoners in their own homes!
