My Role at Tucker Pup's

I teach private lessons, turnkey training, behavioral modification programs, and classes. I also conduct Canine Good Citizen evaluations.

Training Background

Prior to Tucker Pup's, I was a dog trainer at a leading training facility in the Chicago suburbs. I have also been a trainer at Petco.

In addition, I have been a supervisor at a fear-free dog daycare facility. This has helped me better understand dog behavior in group play. Prior to that, I was an intern at the Brookfield Zoo.

Why I Became a Dog Trainer

I grew up loving all animals and was almost certain I wanted to be a zookeeper. After graduating college I started working at Petco and loved watching the dog trainers train. They appreciated my work ethic and took a chance on me. I quickly found a new passion in dog training. It’s the best feeling when you help a family go from being stressed out with their new puppy to having such a beautiful bond and being proud of all the behaviors they taught their puppy! Everyone wants the best for their dogs, and I’m just here to help families do that.

My Pets

I have a 2.5 year old pit bull named Eevee Mae, who is my mini-me. Eevee has her "Do More With Your Dog, Novice Trick Dog" Title. She is so smart and we love to train together!
