I provide private lessons and group classes at Tucker Pup's.
My passion for dogs started at an early age, when I became the neighborhood pet sitter and dog walker. As began to work with hundreds of dogs in the different daycares around the city, I realized how vital and beneficial having a solid and compassionate understanding with your pet is. I hope to work with owners and their pups to strengthen that bond, and to help create the ideal loving relationship we all strive to have with our dogs!
Prior to Tucker Pup's, I was a receptionist at several large dog businesses in Chicago. I also worked as a dog handler and dog walker. These experiences have given me a strong foundation in customer service and dog behavior.

Work Experience
Before my current role, I taught Dropoff Training and puppy socials, and trained dogs here for Stay and Train.Prior to Tucker Pup's, I was a receptionist at several large dog businesses in Chicago. I also worked as a dog handler and dog walker. These experiences have given me a strong foundation in customer service and dog behavior.
Certifications
- I earned my CPDT-KA certification from the Certification Council from Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT).
- I am Fear-Free Certified
- I have also taken courses with Karen Pryor Academy, a leading national academy for dog trainers.
My Dog
I currently live in Wicker Park with my amazing, goofy, and slightly crazy mutt, Olivia. She always keeps me on my toes and challenges me to always be thinking in new ways.Testimonials
Really loved Dropoff Training. My pup came home super tired every day and was very excited to go back each time. They provided a great foundation for obedience training. I also liked the weekly private training sessions where we learned what they had been working on each week. Claire was awesome!

My puppy Ripley and I just finished turnkey training with Claire. She previously taught his Puppy Manners class. She offered to discuss next steps once we graduated. I had been in several Tiny Tots socials with Kali and had a couple of private sessions with Jess (both great). I appreciated that Claire took a team approach and discussed with them what might be the best training option for him. Because Ripley is only 4lbs and is also easily distracted by other pups, she suggested we do Turnkey. I immediately said yes when she offered to be his trainer because she was so great during Puppy Manners. Turnkey is a great option if you want one-on-one training in the puppy's home and neighborhood environment. It's so convenient and worth every penny. Claire picked up on all the subtle puppy behaviors and offered suggestions on handling all types of situations. Ripley just loved her and you can tell she loves what she does. I couldn't be happier with his training. I had researched multiple training facilities in the Chicago area before I got my puppy and I loved that Tucker Pup's offers so many different training options. I'm so happy I chose Tucker Pup's.
