Our positive approach motivates your dog to learn the behaviors more quickly and reliably than other methods. He will be much happier than negative techniques that many other trainers use, such as shock collars or choke chains, the use of fear or intimidation, or physical correction such as yanking on the leash. We motivate dogs by using rewards and praise. Rewards can be phased out at your discretion once your dog learns the behaviors.

Many places make unrealistic promises that you will get back the perfect dog and will never need to do anything differently. This cannot be farther from the truth - if you don't use the proper commands, language, gestures, rewards, equipment, posture, and tone with your dog, your dog is sure to revert to unwanted behaviors. In our program, we teach you, because you are the one with him each day and need to know how to instill the behaviors you desire.
We have a quiet. standalone training center at 1046 W Fulton, located right around the corner from our pet resort. We have training equipment, such as cones, barriers, stuffed dogs, confidence-building toys, and more. We can also involve multiple trainers, and possibly even other dogs, into training exercises.
All of our training programs include access to TrainTrack, our online portal for watching videos and descriptions of the exercises taught. In addition, private lessons include the ability to upload videos to your trainer, log your progress, and view more information that was covered in the sessions.
