Athena

Dog Handler
I have certifications in dog first aid and CPR, dog behavior, and body language.
I do dog sitting with Rover for dogs with health issues, like diabetes or blindness. I like to do it around loud holidays like Fourth of July because it can be stressful on the pups.
I have been working with dogs since 2017, in various places around the city and suburbs. I also briefly worked with border patrol canines and TSA dogs.
I currently have three dogs and one turtle. My dogs are Tapioca (11-year-old pit bull), Aspen (2-year-old Akita), and Malibu (3-year-old Chihuahua). I also have a four-year-old turtle named Gooner. I love going on adventures with my dogs and showing them new places around the city.
I have completed Dog Handler 101 Training, plus beginner dog classes.
My favorite breed is Jack Russell.
My favorite activity is going to the zoo, the beach, and having bonfires with my friends and family.
My future career goal is to open up a sanctuary/shelter for dogs and cats.
Some other interests I have besides working with the best dogs in the city are going on hikes with my dogs, I love going fishing, and I enjoy walking the lakefront.
I graduated from DeVry University with an Associates in Network Systems Administration.
I was on the news in 2024.
